Sanibel Island ResortThose looking for Sanibel Island condos need not look any further. At the Sanibel Siesta, a Sanibel Island resort, you are sure to find all the comforts and convenience of home such as 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen and a lanai as well as cable TV and a VCR.

Of all the beach resorts in south Florida, our Sanibel Island condos place you within feet of the beautiful Gulf of Mexico so there is no driving to the beach—just walk outside and your on the coast.

Of the 100 barrier islands that make up Florida's Lee County, Sanibel Island is best known. Our Sanibel Island resort is known for its shelling and the associated posture referred to as the "Sanibel Stoop." More than 200 varieties of shells litter the beach resort, particularly after an especially high or low tide.

The annual Sanibel Shell Fair is attended by thousands of visitors from throughout the world. For most visitors, however, shelling is a delightful excuse to enjoy hours of sun-worshipping along some of the most beautiful shoreline in North America and to absorb the unspoiled island atmosphere the natives work so earnestly to maintain.

When sun-worshipping at our Sanibel Island resort please be sure to follow these simple suggestions:

  • Avoid sun exposure during the hottest hours of the sun's rays.
  • Apply sunscreen with a SPF (Sun Protection Factor) of at least 15, paying special attention to the face, nose, ears and shoulders.
  • Wear a hat.
  • Wear sunglasses with UV (Ultraviolet) Protection.
  • Drink plenty of water and non-carbonated drinks, even if you do not feel thirsty.
  • Wear foot protection while walking on the beach.
Always stay within the designated swimming area and ideally within the visibility of a lifeguard.
  • Never swim alone.
  • If you get caught in a current, don't try to swim against it, swim gradually out of the current by swimming parallel to the shore until clear of the current.
  • Always keep an eye on your children.

Reserve your stay at our Sanibel Island resort and enjoy all the affordable Sanibel Island condos at the Sanibel Siesta.
